Verse I
At last, Here comes Jo.
The last thing she told me was,
"Baby, You don't wanna' know!"
That last lingering kiss,
Before she goes,
Tells me everything,
That I need to know.

Verse II
At last, Here comes Jo,
Her hat in her hand and her hair
Showin' where the wind blows.
I can't ask her where she's been,
Or where she goes.
She's under no obligaton.
There's no debt she owes.

Bridge
All night, I've been waiting,
Sitting here anticipating,
When she might come.
She comes and smiles her smile,
I just say, "It's been a while."
And she plays dumb,
And I get numb.

It's sad, blue, and over.
It's sad cause she's not here.
It blue because I love her,
But I'm all over all my, Over all my,
Over all my tears.

At last, Here comes Jo,
Her hat in her hand and her hair
Showin' where the wind blows.
That last longing look before she goes.
Tells me everything I don't wanna' know.

I'll bet this one is long. One of the curses of Songwriting is that you write Songs with more than one Movement that serves well in the function of a Chorus. Then you have to decide on an edit. I think this one has too many parts. Someone said, "Songwriting is re-writing."
