Verse I
She's The Romantic,
Ever hopeful!
She'd cross the Atlantic,
Or any other ocean,
You can name.
For her man,
She'll do anything,
That she can.

Verse II
She's The Romantic,
Ever faithful!
She'd believe a frantic lie,
Live it like a fable.
For her man,
She'll do anything,
That she can.
If she loves you,
Then she'll do,
Anything she can.

(Bridge)
She don't need any reason.
She don't make no excuse.
She's the same in any season.
Day or night, It's just no use.
If she loves you,
Then she'll do, Anything she can.
If you're her man,
She'll do, Anything she can.

She's The Romantic, yeah, yeah, yeah!
(Repeat and fade)

I was in a hotel in Columbus, Ohio, and saw an episode of "Family Ties" where Tina Yost's character was having her first date with a boy and was miserable at the stress of it. Her older sister, Justine Bateman's character, was oblivious to her little sister's distress. All she saw was the romantic aspect of it. I started flicking the strings with my index fingernail, wore it thin, in fact, writing "She's The Romantic."
