(Verse I)
I've been waiting for a woman with a gentle voice,
ro tell me when I'm wrong.
I've been waiting for a woman with a gentle voice.
She never seemed to come along.
Then you came across the floor,
said, "You don't have to wait any more.
I'm the one, The woman you've been waiting for."

(V II)
I've been waiting for a woman with a gentle touch,
To sooth me when I'm down.
I've been waiting for woman with a gentle touch.
She never seemed to come around.
Then you came across to me,
as one who just might be,
the one, The Woman I've Been Waiting For.

(Bridge)
You whisper in crowds, Intimately,
Whispering words, Just for me.
You wink and nod. You're so discreet,
Confidently assuring me,
You're the one, the Woman I've Been Waiting For.
Yeah, You're the one, the Woman I've Been Waiting For.

(V III)
I've been waiting for a woman with a gentle way,
to ask me what I'm waiting for.
I've been waiting for a woman with a gentle way.
I'm not waiting any more.
I hear you whispering,
"Come here. Sit close to me.
I'm the one, the woman you've been waiting for."
Yeah, You're the one, the Woman I've Been Waiting For.
Yeah, You're the one, the Woman I've Been Waiting For.

The first two women I told about this Song after I wrote it, heard the first line, as I recited it, and said, "I'll tell ya when you're wrong!"
I thought that two women of vastly different character, in two separate settings, had responded identically meant it had a special trigger for the female psyche. That alone could make it a hit. It looks long. I haven't timed it.
