Chords:
A XO222O
E O221OO
D XXO232

If you want my lovin',
Then babe don't keep me sufferin'.
I can't keep
My head off
The ground.
My life ain't worth nothin'
When I stay stoned and stutterin'.
It gets to be perpetual down.

(Chorus)
If you
Don't want me
Tell Me Now!
Wo-wo-o-wo
Tell Me Now!

Gypsy read my tea leaves.
She says you're leavin' me.
I hope
You're happy
Alone.
But if you're gonna' leave me
Then there'll be nothin' keepin' me.
I'll pack up my bags and go.

(Bridge)
If you can't use me.
If you must refuse me,
Don't
String me along,
Baby, Tell Me Now.
Wo-wo-o-wo
Tell Me Now!

(Repeat Chorus)
If you
Don't want me
Tell Me Now!
Wo-wo-o-wo
Tell Me Now!

"Tell Me Now" is another one of those 3-chord rock n' roll songs that made me explore the possibilities. It has an odd structure, but, if you get to hear it, it works.

In the original inspiration I said, "My life ain't worth nothin', When I stay bombed on Bufferin," which was a headache pill sold back then. That, of course, had to go.
