Red Face!
Tell me 'bout the man behind the door!
Tell me 'bout the first time!
Tell me 'bout the last!
Tell me you don't love me no more!

You took me out of a dream last night,
Made me walk and talk a weary road,
And as if that was not enough,
When I woke up the dream would not go.

And so I sat on borrowed time,
And cried myself to sleep.
Now each time I use my mind,
This Red Face comes over me.
Red Face! Did you really think I'd let go?

Red Face!
Tell me 'bout the man behind the door!
Tell me 'bout the first time!
Tell me 'bout the last!
Tell me you don't love me no more!

I strummed a G, played a riff, and got "Red Face" from a TV commercial. A woman was embarrassed by something, her cooking or housekeeping, and said, "I'm red-faced!" About that time I also heard the French maxim, "A man is not likely to look behind the door, Unless he has stood there himself."
